In an effort to collaborate and inform our community regarding the KASD budget, we will be holding three Town Hall Budget presentation meetings over the next three months. The topics we are planning to cover at the meetings include our budget drivers (staffing, benefits, pension costs, charter/cyber school costs) class sizes, special education, and technology.
The format of the meetings is community members will submit questions via survey ahead of time and we will provide information to address those questions. In addition, we will solicit ideas on how to reduce expenses and generate revenue.
The meetings will be held on the following dates and location:
Tuesday, October 2nd, 6:00 to 7:30 P.M. at Kutztown Area Middle School
Tuesday, November 13th, 6:00 to 7:30 P.M. at Kutztown Area Middle School
Tuesday, December 11th, 6:00 to 7:30 P.M. at Kutztown Area Middle School
