Homestead/Farmstead Applications

The Homestead/Farmstead program generates a credit on the school district tax bill for properties that are the permanent home of the property owner.  For the 22-23 tax year the credit was $245.86 per exclusion.  Once approved, this status remains until the property is resold.

 

Each January, the School District sends homestead/farmstead exclusion applications to the owners of residential properties that are not currently enrolled for the homestead/farmstead exclusion.   The forms are due to the County Assessment Office by March 1st each year.

 

Property owners can check the current homestead/farmstead status of their residence at:
