Each year, the KASD applies for Title I Grant funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Education. We utilize these funds to support our Title I Reading program which is led by our Reading Specialist, Mrs. Kerri Schegan. The program is designed to provide a safety net of interventions to support the growth of those students who present challenges in reading. A major part of the success of any Title I program is the support and involvement of parents. As part of the Title I grant guidelines, schools must have a School-Parent-Student compact and a Family and Parent Engagement policy. These documents are attached and available for your review.
