Lisa Saby

Welcome to my web page!  I have been teaching at Kutztown High School for 18 years; I currently teach 9th grade Language Arts and Freshmen Seminar.  I really enjoy working with 9th graders and helping them transition from middle school to high school. Our focus in LA is on writing and literature and in Freshmen Seminar we work on the skills and resources necessary to help students study, learn, and retain information.  I am also a mom of two boys, Quinn, age 11 and Miles, age 8, who keep me very busy!  In my free time I love to run, swim and horseback ride.  Students and parents are always welcome to contact me with questions, concerns, and/or feedback at Lsaby@kasd.org.  I look forward to a great school year!
