Good afternoon Kutztown High School community,

This is Mr. Flicker with an important message for parents and students. On behalf of our faculty and staff, I want to thank you for your patience and support as we navigate this difficult time.

Our district will begin mandatory online learning on Tuesday, April 14, 2020. For the high school, this will mark the beginning of the 4th quarter. Additionally, mandatory grade level meetings will be held next Tuesday afternoon. During the meetings, our schedule and online school expectations will be explained. All parents are invited to attend the “Virtual Meetings” with our students. We have created a document that provides specifics, as far as our daily schedule, attendance requirements, and other key attributes of our online program. This document will be sent to all students and parents via email. The document will also be posted on our high school webpage at www.kasd.org.

Due to the efforts of our faculty and staff, we are well-positioned for success. Connection, engagement, and effort will be our focus in the weeks to come.  We look forward to working with you and our students and appreciate your involvement with our educational program.

Thank you and have a good day.

    Sincerely,

Barry P. Flicker                                                       Edward L. Myers
