Advanced Computer Applications is a required class for all students usually taken in ninth grade. Successful completion of this curriculum is required for high school graduation. Students work with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications. In addition, students use Web 2.0 tools, learn research paper report formats, and develop information literacy skills. Students use these to successfully complete projects and fulfill course requirements. Collaborative initiatives are an important component of the class.
