Letter to Parents and Guardians

Dear Parent/Guardian:

Let me take this opportunity to introduce myself.  My name is Edward Myers and I am the Assistant Superintendent for the Kutztown Area School District (KASD).  I am responsible for the Special Education Program, Gifted Services Program, Section 504 Services, Home-School Education Contact, Homeless Student Services, and Residency and Guardianship Concerns.  I also work with the Superintendent to oversee Human Resources for the district.  This is my third year working in KASD. 

The laws and regulations that govern student services change often and many procedures may be new to you even if you are familiar with the Student Services Department.  I hope you take some time to explore the web-page.  Please feel free to contact me if you have questions or concerns specific to your child or in general.
