Letter from Food Service Coordinator

Dear Parents/Guardians:

On behalf of the Kutztown Area School District’s Food Service Department, I would like to welcome you to the 2024/2025 school year.

On the website you will find information regarding the Free/Reduced Meal Program that is available for our families. This application needs to be completed every year. Breakfast and lunch prices for the 2024/2025 school year. The breakfast is free for all students, additional breakfast meals are $1.75. The lunch price for grades K-5 is $3.00. The lunch price for grades 6-12 is $3.25.  The NSLP lunch program is free for students that qualify for both the free and reduced lunch program.

The district utilizes a payment payment portal.  This is called SchoolCafe. We highly recommend using this service. If you would like to use this service enroll at www.schoolcafe.com.

Additional information regarding the Food Service Department, including menus and nutritional information, can be accessed on the district’s website at www.kasd.org.
