Letter from Food Service Coordinator

Dear Parents/Guardians:

On behalf of the Kutztown Area School District’s Food Service Department, I would like to welcome you to the 2023/2024 school year.

On the website you will find information regarding the Free/Reduced Meal Program that is available for our families. This application needs to be completed every year. Breakfast and lunch prices for the 2023/2024 school year. The breakfast price, for all grades, will be $1.75 with reduced at $0.30. The lunch price for grades K-5 is $2.90. The lunch price for grades 6-12 is $3.15. The reduced lunch price for all grades is $0.40.

The district utilizes a payment payment portal.  This is called schoolcafe. We highly recommend using this service. If you would like to use this service enroll at www.schoolcafe.com.

Additional information regarding the Food Service Department, including menus, nutritionals and parent payment information, can be accessed on the district’s website at www.kasd.org.
