Welcome to 5th Grade!

Welcome to 5^th grade! I am Melissa Blatt, and I am one of the 5^th grade teachers at Greenwich Elementary School. Here at Greenwich, we believe in a team approach to teaching so your child will also have Mrs. Ashman as their Science teacher, and maybe some math and reading.

         I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Kutztown University. I also have a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Wilkes University and a Master’s degree in Development of Strategies in Education from Wilkes University. I have been teaching 5^th grade for many years, but I also have taught 2^nd grade and 4^th grade.

         5^th grade is an exciting year as we prepare students to move on to the middle school next year. I look forward to working with your child to help them be successful members of our classroom, our school, and the world.
