Rapid Antigen Testing for KASD Faculty and Staff

  • Beginning February 7, KASD will offer rapid antigen testing to students, faculty and staff. This voluntary and cost-free service is intended to alleviate the challenges of securing timely rapid antigen tests for our school community. The testing site will be at the Maxatawny district office location at 251 Long Lane, Kutztown, PA 19530 on Monday and Thursday from 11:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

KASD has partnered with Concentric by Ginkgo for testing services. Students will utilize an online site to sign up and have parent approval for testing.

Faculty and staff are required by Concentric to use a paper consent form, due to confidentiality. You can get a consent form below, from your building secretary, or at the district office reception desk. Note that your consent form must be uploaded to the Concentric system by our staff in order to receive a test.

To receive a rapid antigen test through this program, please follow these steps:

    1. Fill out a consent form.

    2. Give it to your building secretary or email it to Rikki DeVough (rdevough@kasd.org)

    3. Come to 251 Long Lane, Kutztown between the hours of 11:30 AM and 4:30 PM on a Monday or Thursday.

    4. No appointment necessary, but your consent form must be uploaded to the system by our staff in order to receive a test.

    5. There is no cost for the rapid antigen test for a KASD employee.
