Dr. Diane Quinn
Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Professional Development
A 1986 graduate of Owen J. Roberts High School and 1989 graduate of Kutztown University with a B.A. in Speech Communication, Dr. Quinn began her career in marketing but found her passion in teaching as she obtained her secondary English teaching certificate from Villanova University. She taught for one year in the Upper Dublin School District and then taught seventh grade students English in the Methacton School District for 15 years during which time she became a Fellow of the Pennsylvania Writing and Literature Project; earned her Master's Degree in Elementary Education at West Chester University; coached middle school field hockey, middle school boys tennis, and high school girls tennis; founded and advised the literary magazine; and became the middle school English and reading department leader. Over the next five years, she earned her Doctorate in Educational Leadership at Immaculata University while serving as an administrator as the K-12 Reading and Title 1 Coordinator, and eventually Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment. She returned to Kutztown as Curriculum coordinator in 2012.
At home, Dr. Quinn loves spending time with family and her dog, attending the theater, reading, playing Yahtzee, and enjoying the outdoors.
