I teach Algebra 1, Algebra 1 Honors and Pre-algebra.

In Algebra 1 and Algebra 1 Honors we focus on solving equations/functions, writing equations, and factoring equations. We also solve inequalities and graph both equations and inequalities.
In May 2016 all Algebra 1 students will take the Algebra 1 Keystone Exam.  It is a state requirement that all students (Class of 2017 and later) pass the Keystone Exam to qualify for high school graduation. 

In Pre-algebra we focus on developing the math skills to prepare students for algebra next year.  We will be learning about rational and irrational numbers, solving equations and inequalities, graphing, doing geometric transformations and data analysis.
