    CYCLE 1
    6th Grade     and 7th Grade     are learning how to use the KAMS library.

    CYCLE 2
    6th Grade and 7th Grade are continuing to learn how to use the KAMS Library. On their second meeting of the cycle there will be a quiz on what we done so far.

    CYCLE 3
    6th Grade and 7th Grade are learning how to use the KAMS Library catalog. Anyone may access our district's catalog through this link: Destiny

    CYCLE 4
    6th Grade and 7th Grade are continuing to learn how to use the KAMS Library catalog.

    CYCLE 5
    6th Grade will have a quiz on using Destiny on A, C, and E days. Students must be able to access Destiny, know the 5 ways to search and actually answer questions using Destiny.
         On days B, D, and F students will be starting to write bibliographies.

    7th Grade
    will have a quiz on using Destiny and Titlepeek on A, C, and E days. Students must be able to access Destiny, access TitlePeek, know and be able to explain the 5 ways to search and actually answer questions using Destiny and TitlePeek.
         On days B, D, and F students will be learning how to use Noodle Tools.

    CYCLE 6
    6th Grade will be continuing on writing bibliographies using the MLA format.

    7th Grade will continue to practice using Noodle Tools.

    CYCLE 7
    6th Grade will be continuing on writing bibliographies using the MLA format.

    7th Grade will continue to practice using Noodle Tools.

    CYCLE 8
    6th Grade will be having a quiz on bibliographies. Students will need to be able to define what a bibliography is and be able to write citations for print, periodical and website. The formats for these types of citations will be provided.

    7th Grade will have a quiz on using Noodle Tools.


    CYCLE 9
    6th Grade will be using Word to write real bibliographies.
     
    7th Grade will be using Noodle Tools to write topic bibliographies.


    CYCLE 10

    6th Grade will be using Word to write real bibliographies.
     
    7th Grade will be using Noodle Tools to write topic bibliographies

    CYCLE 11
    6th Grade will be working on book reviews. Students have until cycle 13 to read their books.
     
    7th Grade     is continuing to learn about the internet and the history of Google. There will be a very short quiz on days B, D and F.


    CYCLE 12
    6th Grade will be working on book reviews. Students have until the end of cycle 13 to read their books. (after Christmas break)
     
    7th Grade     is starting on World Book Online. (except for C8 and C9 classes who are taking their IT quiz)

    6th Grade will be working on book reviews. Students have until the end of cycle 13 to read their books. (after Christmas break)
     
    7th Grade     is working on World Book Online.

    CYCLE 14
    6th Grade will be using Google Docs to write their book reviews.
     
    7th Grade     is working on World Book Online to create Timelines.

    CYCLE 15
    6th Grade will be using Google Docs to write their book reviews.
     
    7th Grade     is working on World Book Online to create Timelines.

    6th Grade will be learning how to use the World Almanac print edition.
     
    7th Grade     is working on creating urban legends about famous dead people.

    6th Grade will be having an Almanac quiz. Students will have to answer ten questions using the Almanac.

    6th Grade will be learning about the thesaurus.

    6th Grade will be playing Thesaurus Libs.

    CYCLE 22
    6th Grade will be using different iPod thesauri.
     
    7th Grade     will be learning about the Pennsylvania Online World of Electronic Resources. (POWER Library)

    CYCLE 23
    6th Grade will be practicing following written instructions and reviewing the dictionary.
     
    7th Grade     will be learning about the Pennsylvania Online World of Electronic Resources. (POWER Library)

    CYCLE 24
    6th Grade will be using different iPod dictionaries.
     
    7th Grade     will be presenting their Pennsylvania Online World of Electronic Resources study guides.

    CYCLE 25
    6th Grade will be learning about the history of encyclopedias.
     
    7th Grade     will have a quiz on POWER Library on A, C and E days. They will start on search engine comparisons on days B, D and F.

    CYCLE 26
    6th Grade will be comparing online and print encyclopedias.
     
    7th Grade     will be comparing online search engines.

    6th Grade will be comparing online and print encyclopedias.

    CYCLE 28
    6th Grade will be playing Wheel of Library and reviewing for their final.
     
    7th Grade     will be watching the historic film The Reference Section as well as reviewing for their final.
