Mrs. Keglovits' Reading Page

My name is Donna Keglovits.  I am a graduate of Kutztown Area Schools and Kutztown University with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in Reading.  My career in Kutztown began at the Albany Elementary School where I was the first grade teacher for 22 years.  In 2000 I accepted the position of Reading Specialist for the Albany, Greenwich, and Maxatawny Elementary Schools.  In my position as Title I reading specialist, I provide instruction to students who need extra support in reading in grades K – 3.  I also assist with the Read 180/System 44 programs in grades 4 and 5.  During the summer months I am the coordinator of the Kutztown Summer Reading Program.  It is my goal to provide literacy skills and strategies to all students to become lifelong readers and to make reading an enjoyable activity.
