GES Kindergarten Open House Postponed
Due to the threat of severe weather through the afternoon/evening hours, our Kindergarten Open House at Greenwich this evening will be postponed to a later date.

Cougar Connections
We know that the transition into kindergarten can be a big one! Cougar Connections is a program we have put in place to provide an additional layer of support for kindergarten students and their families during the first year of school. End of Year Weather Make-up Days
Due to the weather related school closures on January 7, January 20, February 4, and February 25, the Kutztown Area School District will be open for make up days on May 27, May 31, June 1, and June 2. The last three days will be be early dismissal days.

Kutztown Athletics Re-Socialization Guidelines
Kutztown Athletics will begin a phased re-socialization plan beginning July 1, 2020 for our High School Fall Varsity programs. Please see the document for our guidelines for voluntary off-season workouts.

Safe2Say Something Program
Safe2Say Something is a youth violence prevention program run by the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General. The program teaches youth and adults how to recognize warning signs and signals, especially within social media, from individuals who may be a threat to themselves or others and to “say something” BEFORE it is too late. With Safe2Say Something, it’s easy and confidential to report safety concerns to help prevent violence and tragedies.

Greenwich and Kutztown Elementary Schools Named Title I Distinguished Schools
The Pennsylvania Department of Education has informed us that Greenwich-Lenhartsville Elementary School and Kutztown Elementary School have been named two of 158 Title I Distinguished Schools! This prestigious honor is awarded to the highest 5% performing Title I schools in the Commonwealth! Congratulations to our elementary staff and students!
